Easy and Familiar Deployment
Step by Step Deployment
Stent is mounted on a semi-compliant balloon
and is restrained by a splitable sheath.
Balloon inflation splits the sheath and
releases the Self-Apposing® stent.
The balloon is then deflated leaving the 0.0032"
sheath between the stent and the vessel wall.
4 The balloon and sheath are then withdrawn leaving the stent apposed to the vessel wall. The two radiopaque stent markers are located at the edges of the stent.
Xposition S is designed to optimise the treatment of challenging cases by ensuring complete and continuous apposition for improved patient outcomes.
Over 2,500 patients in clinical trials have demonstrated:
- Low Late Lumen Loss – 0.04mm at 9 Months1
- Faster healing than ResoluteTM - 34% STENTYS stents fully covered vs 3% at 4 Months1
- Excellent Clinical Outcomes – MACE of 8.4% at 12 Months in STEMI patients after post dilation2
Size Selection based on distal vessel diameter
At the stent size boundaries (3.0 & 3.5mm), use the smaller size as the vessel normally tapers
*Maximum vessel diameter for vessels with diameter variations (e.g. tapered and ectatic).
