STENTYS was founded in 2006 by a team consisting of a cardiologist, a surgeon and a medical device professional. Since its inception, the STENTYS mission has been:

“To bring new pragmatic solutions to the treatment of complex lesions by focusing innovations on mechanical stent improvements that would greatly benefit patients.”

During the last few years, most research investments in the interventional cardiology field have focused solely on drug coatings, and not much has been left to stent progress despite the dire need for new approaches. The STENTYS R&D team has created a novel self-expanding platform, the cornerstone product to provide Simple Stent Solutions to challenging vascular disease in the coronary, peripheral and brain arteries.
